Could be from the motor. Yoyu may have a valve slightly out of spec setting wise, or it could be as simple as the motor pinging due to the wrong grade of fuel. Each bike is slightly different from its model mates, and my Savage happens to like only 92 or 93 octane fuel. Will burn the other grades, just not efficiently.
